SHOWROOM PROGRESS

PROGRESS PHOTOS:

Normally, the first step of any kitchen renovation is ripping out the ancient cupboards and cabinets that are falling to pieces in front of your eyes- and its usually a great release of tension to take a sledgehammer to it!
However, in the showroom it is slightly different. We sell on all our old displays (listed on our website, social media or ebay) so we take as much care taking out of the old kitchen as we do installing the new kitchen.
Our old kitchen
traveled down South and is already installed in it's new home, which made space ready for all the building work to commence!

WEEK ONE: THE OLD DISPLAY

Once everything from the old kitchen was packed up and shipped off down South, the building work began.
First step of the build was to put some stud walls up, to create a more realistic kitchen space. This was quickly followed by new tiles being laid and a fresh coat of paint on the surrounding walls.

At the start of 2019, we introduced a new 'graphite' colour in one of our more traditional door ranges. Since the sample door was such a hit, we decided to feature this door in our new display. - which is already proving a success with everyone who has visited our showroom.

WEEK TWO:

Once all of our units were in place it was time to get creative again. We decided we wanted to make some statements in this display, and there were certain places we really wanted to let this show. One of these was the extraction we boxed in above the ovens.
We settled on some bold William Morris wallpaper to cover the extractor front and sides in. This also helped introduce some new colours into the display. We have picked out some of the more subtle colours in the wallpaper for both the tiles behind the hob and the splashback in the dresser. Finishing touches have also been done in preperation for the worktop being templated including a thorough clean, handles going on and internals going in!
